Used as a highly effective UV curing initiator and non-yellowing photoinitiator UV curable coating and ink UV curable coatings and inks, 184 tested for acrylate series of UV curable varnishes for paper, metal and plastic surfaces. It is especially recommended for UV coatings that require only a slight yellowing even after prolonged exposure to sunlight.

The yellowing of the acrylic system polyurethane under outdoor sunlight can be further reduced by the addition of the hindered amine light stabilizer 292.
