The fluorescent lamp for insect trap is a kind of ultraviolet (the peak value of the wavelength is 420nm) radiation lamp which makes use of both photochemical action and fluorescence. Only visual light is emitted. As most night flying insects are sensitive to ultraviolet, so it can be used as the light source of insect trap.
